Knits and Knots Anniversary

Well, I missed it by almost 3 months! Knits and Knots was one year old on Dec 1st. I can hardly believe that I've been blogging that long, or that there are actually people stopping by regularly to read what I have to say about the fibery world :) I have had a ton of fun with this blog and mostly have all of you to thank for it! Without your kind words, encouragement and visits, I probably would have given this up quite a while ago. So, as a fun way to say thanks, I am going to hold a little anniversary contest. I haven't quite decided what the prize will be, but if you leave me a comment on this post before the end of the day tomorrow (12 am EST on Feb 21), your name will be entered into a drawing for the unnamed prize - I promise it will be good.     My favorite accomplishment of the last year was last year's garden, & learning to can. Here's hoping I can do better this year!

    I believe that my favorite accomplishment is completely surrounded by my family. The first day of '08 I started dating Micah, then I fell in love, got married, and pregnant shortly thereafter. :)

    I always enjoy seeing your projects and reading about them. I, too, love the world of fibers, but have yet to get past crooked scarves.

    Happy Anniversary! I love your blog! You have great patterns, insightful posts, and a great personality!

    My best accomplishment was not crying during my daughter's Holy Communion. She threatened me not to embarras her and I think I did ok! :)

    I'm also pretty psyched I picked up knitting needles.

    Well my favorite accomplishment I will have to say sewing more for myself lately. I don't take up any sewing classes I just go by reading books and winging it. :)
    So go ahead throw me into that blog contest. I know whatever the gift is it will be great.

    Happy Blog anniversary! I too am behind on celebrating my blog anniversary but one day, ha! Umm.... my great accomplishment was having a 9 lbs 3 oz, healthy baby girl. lol How about that? Thanks for sharing about your life and your love for fiber! ;-)

    My favorite accomplishment of the last year? Losing all my baby weight and then some and completing my first mini-triathlon!
